Congressman Cliff Bentz has been actively communicating updates and important reminders through his Twitter account, highlighting his office's accomplishments and upcoming opportunities for his constituents. Bentz has been serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Oregon's 2nd district since 2021, after previously holding positions in the Oregon House of Representatives and the Oregon State Senate.

On April 15, Bentz shared an achievement regarding a local business. "I have a great update to share! After months of work, my office has helped Taylor’s Sausage in Cave Junction recover $688,181.00 through the IRS Employee Retention Credit." Bentz used this success to invite constituents needing assistance with federal issues to reach out to his office.

On April 17, Bentz expressed gratitude towards several influential figures for their cooperation in discussions about a military base. "Thank you to Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Air Force Robert Moriarty, Lieutenant Colonel Benson with the Department of the Air Force, and Colonel Hammons with the National Guard Bureau for meeting with me last week, here in Washington, D.C., to discuss the future of Kingsley" The meeting underscored his ongoing engagement with military affairs.

Later the same day, Bentz issued a reminder for an art competition. "REMINDER: The 2025 Congressional Art Competition deadline is April 18th, 2025! All Oregon CD-2 High school students are invited to submit their artwork by tomorrow, April 18th for a chance to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol." This competition provides a unique platform for young artists to gain national recognition.

Representing Oregon's 2nd district, Bentz was born in Salem, Oregon, and currently resides in Ontario. With a background in law, having graduated from Eastern Oregon University and Lewis and Clark College, he has a longstanding commitment to public service.
