Congressman Cliff Bentz, representing Oregon's 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared several updates and reflections on social media this week. Known for his long-standing service, Bentz took to Twitter to engage with constituents and honor national observances.

On February 17, Congressman Bentz acknowledged Presidents' Day by reflecting on the challenges faced by those who have held the presidential office. He encouraged appreciation for their dedication, stating "Happy Presidents’ Day! Today one might take a moment to consider the stress and weight of the office of president, and appreciate those who have devoted large portions of their lives to serve us in that office."

The following day, February 18, Bentz invited constituents to participate in town hall meetings over two days. He emphasized these gatherings as opportunities for dialogue about congressional activities and constituent feedback: "Please join me, if weather and time permits, for one of the four town hall meetings I’m holding over the next two days. These meetings will provide an opportunity to hear about what Congress is doing and, as time and crowd size permits, for you to share what you think."

On February 19, after hosting a town hall meeting in Baker County, Bentz expressed gratitude towards attendees. He highlighted discussions on his congressional work and constituent services: "It was great to see everyone at today’s town hall in Baker County! I enjoyed discussing my work in Congress, delivering information on constituent services, and answering questions. Thank you for joining me!"
