Congressman Cliff Bentz, representing Oregon's 2nd district, has shared several statements on his social media platform regarding current political and energy issues. Serving in the U.S. Congress since 2021, Bentz has been vocal about various topics that impact his constituents and the nation.

On February 3, 2025, Congressman Bentz expressed his perspective on military deployment by stating, "I agree with the 'Let’s see if those 10,000 troops actually do something' approach."

On February 5, 2025, he announced a hearing by the House Commerce Subcommittee on Energy at which he is a member. He urged people to "TUNE IN: Today, the @HouseCommerce Subcommittee on Energy...is holding a hearing at 10:15AM ET to discuss American energy, lower prices and support job creation."

Later that day, Bentz criticized the Biden Administration's actions regarding energy policy. He remarked that "The Biden Administration targeted the Lower Snake River Dams, threatening our energy. We MUST retain and maximize every kilowatt of energy generating capacity we’ve got."
