Ashland Creek Water Quality Update

As of August 31, the water in Ashland Creek is now safe to swim or wade in at both the wading area and the Swim Reservoir in Lithia Park. To stay abreast of water quality in Ashland Creek, visit ashland.or.us/ParksWaterQuality.

Ashland Creek meanders through Lithia Park. Water quality in Ashland Creek varies due to many factors in our watershed. The City of Ashland monitors E. coli levels weekly, May through October.

For information on local waterways and if it is safe to swim, visit TheSwimGuide.org. This site is managed by Rogue RiverKeeper, a program of the Klamath-Siskiyou Wildlands Center, that works to protect and restore clean water, native fish and healthy communities in the Rogue River Basin.
