Jackson County Roads is replacing an aging culvert at a drainage crossing on Foothill Road on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Work will begin at 7AM and be completed by 4PM. A detour will be in place routing traffic around this location located between East Vilas Road and Dry Creek Road. Local access to homeowners will remain open, however the closure at the crossing will be complete. Emergency service dispatchers will be notified.
The map in this article shows the specific location of the closure. Work is being done on a Saturday to avoid the weekday traffic volumes of many work commuters. The signed detour will include using East Vilas Road, Crater Lake Avenue, and Coker Butte Road.
