Congressman Cliff Bentz, representing Oregon's 2nd district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing different topics related to his work and initiatives. Bentz has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2021 after replacing Greg Walden. Prior to this role, he was a member of the Oregon House of Representatives and the Oregon State Senate.

On March 10, 2025, Bentz reminded constituents that "The 2025 Congressional Art Competition deadline is soon approaching! Oregon CD-2 high school students are invited to submit their artwork by April 18th for a chance to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol." He encouraged participants to visit his website for entry and submission details.

Later that day, Bentz expressed his honor in presiding over debates in the U.S. House of Representatives. On March 10, 2025, he tweeted: "It was my honor to preside over Member’s debates in the U.S. House of Representatives today! I was proud to represent Oregon’s Second Congressional District from the Speaker’s Chair."

On March 11, 2025, Congressman Bentz addressed an issue concerning environmental policy by sending a letter to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. In his tweet on this matter, he stated: "Today, I sent a letter to @DHSgov Secretary Kristi Noem asking that her agency halt attempts by environmental groups to change how the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) is implemented in Oregon." He voiced concerns that these changes would undermine the program's core purpose.
