2022: 2 coaches at institution in Josephine County earned on average $15,309

Josephine County’s two coaches earned an average salary of $15,309 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the sixth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Oregon post-secondary schools during 2022.

Josephine County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $15,720 on average in Josephine County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $14,897.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
