Upcoming Events This Summer!

The following are community events happening around the City this summer:

Movies in the Park

Movies in the Park takes place at Bear Creek Park (1520 Siskiyou Blvd.). This free event features a movie and poster raffle, event-branded giveaways, and/or pre-show crafts or games. All movies start at dusk.

Friday, June 2: Minions: The Rise of Gru

Friday, June 9: Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

Friday, June 23: Soul

Friday, June 30: Hotel Transylvania: Transformania

Friday, July 7: Up

Friday, August 25: The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Summer Concert Series at Pear Blossom Park

Enjoy free concerts at Pear Blossom Park (312 E. 4th St.)! The concerts run from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

Thursday, July 20: Mariachi Joyas De Oro

Thursday, August 24: High Step Society

Flick and Float

Join us for a free movie on the water at the Jackson Aquatic Center (815 Summit Ave.)! Free popcorn is included. 

Saturday, August 19 at 10 AM: Lilo & Stitch

Yappy Hour

Bring your furry friend to the park for a special evening. Humans and dogs can meet new friends, get some exercise, or chill by the water bowl! Each event runs from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. 

Friday, July 21: Bear Creek Dog Park (1520 Siskiyou Blvd.)

Friday, September 22: Cedar Links Park (3101 Cedar Links Dr.)

Admission is $10 per person and includes a pint glass, dog treats and tennis ball.

Popsicle Patrols

The Medford Police Department will be helping residents stay cool this summer by handing out free popsicles and water to kids and adults during their Popsicle Patrols.

The patrols will take place on the following dates:

  • Saturday, June 24 - Jackson Pool (815 Summit Ave.) - 2:00 - 4:00 PM

  • Saturday, July 15 - Bear Creek Park (1520 Siskiyou Blvd.) - 12:00 - 2:00 PM

  • Saturday, August 5 - Lewis Park (130 Lewis Ave.) - 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

  • Saturday, September 16 - Lone Pine Park (3286 Lone Pine Rd.) - 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

The popsicles and waters will be handed out while supplies last.
