Lake County is home to five registered sex offenders in March

There was an unchanged number of registered sex offenders living in Lake County in March compared to the previous month, according to the Oregon Sex Offender Registry.

There were five sex offenders registered in Lake County in March.

The Registry shows 29-year-old Kenneth Ray Faulconer was the youngest sex offender living in Lake County in March.

Marcus Dean Payne was the oldest at 61-years-old.

Oregon has the highest population-adjusted rate of sex offenders – about 749 per 100,000 people.

In 2020, about 11,487 unique victims of child abuse were reported in Oregon, but studies of victims have shown less than 30% of sex crimes are reported to law enforcement.
