County Commissioners form Klamath County Spence Mountain Maintenance Advisory Committee | Klamath County
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESS RELEASE
Klamath County Commissioners have agreed to form Klamath County Spence Mountain Maintenance Advisory Committee.
On November 23, 2022 Klamath County completed the purchase of real property known as Spence Mountain. A requirement to receive State and Federal grant funding was to adopt and implement a Forest Management Plan. The advisory committee would meet to assure compliance and maintenance of the Forest Management Plan and Trail System.
The Advisory Committee will be comprised of 7 members; Representative from Klamath Tribes, Representative from "Trails/Recreation", Representative from "Industry", Representative from "Agriculture", County Employee Representative and two at large positions. The members will be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners pursuant to Resolution 2016-017.
