Home for the Pawlidays
We can’t think of a better “pawliday” gift you can give yourself than a new furry friend from the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
With the Shelter at capacity, our sponsor, Lithia driveway, has generously offered to cover a large portion of adoptions fees during the month of December to help us clear the kennels for the holidays.
The Jackson County Animals Shelter is filled with wonderful pets waiting to meet and come home with you. Please consider opening you heart and home this holiday season to a dog or cat looking for its forever family.
- If you see an animal you’re interested in, make an appointment or come on by (see hours below).
Fill out the County adoption paperwork, pay the reduced fee, and take your new pet home. All standard shelter adoption reviews and procedures remain in effect.

Tuesday – Thursday: Appointment needed; no walk-ins (541) 774-6654
Friday – Sunday: Noon – 4:00 PM – No appointment needed (no adoptions after 3:30 PM)
Closed Mondays and Christmas Day
