The Town of Lakeview would like to welcome Jesse Morris as the new fire chief. Morris assumed his new responsibilities on September 5, 2022.
“We are fortunate to have found a candidate with Jesse’s skills, knowledge, and leadership,” said town manager Michele Parry. “We are delighted to have him on our team.”
Jesse is originally from northern Minnesota. He moved to Lakeview in 2016 and has worked in wildland fire for both the BLM and USFS. Jesse has served as a volunteer firefighter, lieutenant, and captain for the past 16 years. He accepted the position of fire chief to help support the department’s and training program’s growth.
“This is the communities department, and we appreciate the support we receive from the residents and businesses we serve. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to become a volunteer.” Chief Morris says.
