Of the 3,090 people living in Shady Cove in 2020, 58 percent (1,792) were women and 42 percent (1,298) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Oregon News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 148. In the 65 and over age range, there were 639 females and 335 males.
