Grants Pass High School issued the following announcement on March 4
Congratulations to the following Grants Pass High School students for taking home 1st place as a team in the 2022 Academic Masters competition on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
Madeleine Cox: 2nd Place: Science
Alexander Guymon: 2nd Place: Social Studies
Adam Jenson: 1st Place: Music
Allie Rist: 1st Place: English
Nicolas Rist: 1st Place: Math
GPHS team: 1st Place
The Academic Masters Competition has been around since the 1980s to highlight and promote academics. Students from 4 area high schools compete for cash prizes by highlighting their knowledge of a subject area. The students complete a written test before the competition and then perform or present on their subject area live for a panel of judges.
