Of the 3,080 people living in Shady Cove in 2019, 48.6 percent (1,498) were women and 51.4 percent (1,582) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Oregon News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 908-to-865. In the 65 and over age range, there were 505 females and 384 males.
