96 percent of applicants to the Oregon Institute of Technology were admitted for fall 2018

At the Oregon Institute of Technology, 69 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Klamath Falls enrolled 5,335 students in fall 2018, including 5,206 in undergraduate and 129 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

82 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oregon, and 18 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (66 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (11 percent).

The school admitted 96 percent of the 939 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 40 percent enrolled.
