Former South Medford High School standout Nicole Ledendecker contributed to the George Fox Bruins’ 10-2 win over the Linfield Wildcats in an NCAA Division III softball matchup held Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m.
Hosted at Curtis and Margaret Morse Athletic Fields, the game marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. In their earlier contest on Saturday, March 7, the Bruins were defeated by the Wildcats, 7-1.
Ledendecker pitched six innings, surrendering one earned run and striking out five.
The Bruins are slated to face Linfield again at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 8, at Curtis and Margaret Morse Athletic Fields.
