On May 25, 2026, Bentz posted: “This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who answered our nation’s call and made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage, service and unwavering dedication to our freedoms must never be forgotten.”
Later that day, he shared details of his participation at a commemorative event: “On this 2026 Memorial Day, I had the great honor to speak at the Eagle Point National Cemetery as we remembered and honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Thank you to every one at Eagle Point National Cemetery for inviting me to be part of their”.
In another post from May 25, Bentz wrote about attending a ceremony at a different memorial site: “This Memorial Day 2026, I joined many at the Vietnam War Memorial Wall to honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation and the freedoms we enjoy every day. We continue to remember them, honor them, and remain forever”.
