Congressman Cliff Bentz, who represents Oregon’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted several initiatives and engagements through his official Twitter account.
On April 8, 2026, Bentz announced a significant development for Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls: “After working directly with Kingsley Field leadership, U.S. Air Force, and the White House, the President’s FY27 budget includes $80 million for a new F-35 Formal Training Unit at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls.” He also shared a link to his full press release on the matter.
Two days later, on April 9, 2026, Bentz discussed his participation at an industry event: “I had a great time speaking at the American Forest Resource Council Annual Meeting, where I joined @amforest_org President Travis Joseph for a Q&A panel in front of more than 200 attendees. We covered a range of issues in the natural resources space, including my O&C lands”.
On April 10, 2026, Bentz issued a reminder about an ongoing art competition: “REMINDER: The 2026 Congressional Art Competition is open! In honor of America’s 250th birthday, this year’s theme is “Celebrating America’s 250 Years.” Oregon CD-2 high school students are invited to submit their artwork by April 17th for a chance to have their artwork”.
