Congressman Cliff Bentz, who represents Oregon’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his recent activities and constituent concerns through a series of posts on social media.

On February 12, 2026, Bentz announced his participation in a radio interview to discuss several key topics affecting his district and national policy. He stated, “Live from Washington, D.C., I joined Kyle Bailey on @KQENRADIO to discuss the Bonneville Power Administration, ongoing discussions surrounding a potential government shutdown, and my work on the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health. Two days later, on February 14, 2026, Bentz addressed a local issue brought to his attention by a constituent. He wrote, “Last night I was contacted by a parent of one of the 159 children who attend the Butte Falls Charter School, located in Butte Falls, Oregon, a community located about 40 miles east of Medford, Oregon. This constituent told us that just before noon a wolf that had been seen”. The following tweet included only a link: “https://t.co/O9rgMNiY1t”.

Cliff Bentz has represented Oregon’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Greg Walden in 2021. Prior to serving in Congress, he held seats in both the Oregon House of Representatives (2008-2018) and the Oregon State Senate (2018-2020). Born in Salem in 1952 and currently residing in Ontario at age 71, Bentz holds degrees from Eastern Oregon University (BA) and Lewis & Clark College (JD).
