Congressman Cliff Bentz, who represents Oregon’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on January 14, 2026, addressing water management, fuel costs, and agricultural policy in Oregon.

On January 14 at 17:15 UTC, Bentz wrote about meeting with local stakeholders: “Today, I met with the Klamath Irrigation District to discuss their ongoing efforts to pursue a title transfer through the Bureau of Reclamation. In a tweet posted at 21:42 UTC on January 14, Bentz thanked industry representatives for a policy discussion: “Thank you to Agri Beef for joining me this morning to discuss the importance of advancing wolf delisting legislation, the critical role of medium-sized packers, and how we can continue to provide affordable, high-quality beef for all Americans! https://t.co/GNJdvaH8ri”.

Cliff Bentz has served as the representative for Oregon’s 2nd congressional district since replacing Greg Walden in 2021. He previously held seats in both chambers of the Oregon Legislature from 2008 to 2020 and was born in Salem before settling in Ontario. Bentz holds degrees from Eastern Oregon University and Lewis and Clark College.
